Routine appointments

Appointments can be booked via your online access (up to 3 weeks in advance) or by contacting the surgery. You can choose either a face to face or telephone appointment.

If you book via your online account, please INDICATE your preference of appointment.

We continue to provide a telephone call backs for acute medical issues that need on the day attention. You will receive a call back from one of the duty team clinicians who will triage the call to determine the most appropriate next stage. In addition, our reception team may direct you to the most timely and appropriate service for your needs provided by our local and city-wide services so please be prepared for the Receptionist to ask you for the reason you need an appointment.

If you need a nurse appointment
Please ring to make an appointment and be prepared for the Receptionist to ask you for the reason you need an appointment so we can give you an appropriate time slot.

Midwife appointment
Our Midwife sees pregnant ladies in her clinic on Thursday mornings.  Please ring to make an appointment

Cancelling your appointment

If you have an appointment you cannot attend or wish to cancel, please let us know as soon as you can.

You can contact us about a medical, administrative or prescription issue by clicking here.

Answer a few short questions and we will get back to you within 2 working days.  Please do not use this online form for urgent or emergency requests.  The submitted forms will only be read during office hours.  The forms will not be read on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) or on Bank Holidays.  They will not be read between the hours of 6 pm – 8.30 am.  Please contact 111 during out of hours or 999 if this is an emergency.

Enhanced Access

Local GP practices have teamed up to improve the way they provide weekend and evening appointment for our patients.

For Greystones Medical Centre patients appointments will be available at Porterbrook Medical Centre.

Remote and face-to-face appointments can be made with a variety of GP practice staff including Doctors, Advance Care Practitioners, Nurses, Nurse Associates, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapists and Pharmacists.

Initially appointments can be booked through the practice, but patients will soon be able to book these direct online and through NHS 111.

Home Visits

Where possible, please to phone Reception before 10am to request a home visit.

A Doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice. It sometimes is more appropriate to send a Nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House Visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
