2023-24 Flu programme

If you are 65 and over including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2024

You will have been sent a text invite to book your free flu vaccination.  We are also contacting these patients by telephone.  If you are in the age group above and have not yet been contacted, please do call the surgery to book an appointment.

If you are 64 and under and have

  • have certain health conditions
  • are pregnant
  • are in long-stay residential care
  • receive a carer’s allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
  • live with someone who is more likely to get a severe infection due to a weakened immune system, such as someone living with HIV, someone who has had a transplant, or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis

You will be contacted by text or telephone inviting you to make an appointment.

If your child is aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2023 (born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2021)

The above group of patients are eligible for a nasal spray flu vaccine. We will be contacting parents and carers via text and telephone call once we have supply of the vaccine to invite them to book an appointment.
